Physician - Anesthesiology

Applicants should be proficient in regional anesthesia as well as OB anesthesia. Our cases include General surgery, Urology, Retina, Gyn, Vascular, Ortho, Podiatry, Dental, ENT, Endoscopy, Thoracic and occasional pediatrics. We have 9 OR's, run between 1-3 endo rooms daily, support the cath lab as needed and cover Burdett Care Center, our Labor and Delivery unit. We maintain a collegial relationship with the surgeons and work most often in an Anesthesia Care Team model. Troy, NY is just a few minutes drive north of Albany, NY, our states Capital. We are a short drive away from Saratoga as well as the Adirondacks and Berkshires, providing unlimited, year round, outdoor activities. We are within 2-3 hour drive of the Finger Lake Region, NYC and Boston. The Capital Region boasts an excellent public school system and variety of private schools available. Albany International Airport is easily accessible.  

We are offering a competitive compensation package which includes the following:

$600,000/year 

Call 1:8, extra call is optional and paid extra

Post call day off

Second call optional and paid extra

$100,000 starting bonus for 2 year commitment

Quality bonus available after second year

8 weeks vacation plus 1 week CME
