Position Details:

  • Variety of schedule designs: Full-time, part-time, and per diem
  • Bread-and-butter cases: OB, Bariatric, Vascular, Thoracic, Urology
  • No cardiac, trauma, or neuro cases
  • Onsite shifts: 46 hours/week, 44 weeks/year (2,024 hours annually)
  • First call rotation:
    • 1 in 8 weekday shifts (12 hours each)
    • 1 in 8 weekends (Sat & Sun - 24 hours each day)
    • 1 in 6 holidays (24 hours each)

Qualifications

  • Board Certified/Board Eligible in Anesthesiology
  • NYS license and DEA
  • Strong clinical and communication skills

Recruitment Package

  • Base Salary: $600,000/year (prorated for part-time)
  • The posted salary reflects the starting range of total compensation and does not include productivity bonuses, incentives related to quality and performance, extra shift incentives, and other forms of cash compensation as applicable to the position. In addition, providers typically receive a CME allowance and other benefits offered by their medical group employer. Please note that this salary range is provided in accordance with State law and is subject to variation due to the factors noted above.
  • Starting Bonus: $75,000 (paid within 30 days of start date)
  • Retention Bonus: $25,000 (paid at first anniversary)
  • Quality Incentives: Up to $20,000/year starting in year two
  • Relocation assistance available
