Overview

JOB SPECIFICS

  • We are seeking an Obstetrics & Gynecology Physician to join a growing, robust team of OB/GYN, FMOB, Midwife and APRN providers
  • OSF Medical Group OB/GYN Providers perform approximately 800 deliveries a year, serving Galesburg, IL and the surrounding Western Illinois area
  • Clinic is conveniently located on the campus of OSF Saint Mary Medical Center in Galesburg; this multispecialty clinic brings together a collegial group of specialty Physicians with embedded social workers and behavioral health professionals.
  • Opportunity for weekly outreach to smaller rural communities to grow your practice in our integrated health system.
  • Great opportunity for either a seasoned Board-Certified Physician, or a newly trained Board Eligible Physician
  • Weekly schedule is 3-4 days of clinic and 1 surgery day, plus outreach
  • Call is a Q6 model: 1 day every week/every other week, plus every 6th
  • Joining a team of 3 OB/GYN Physicians, 3 FMOB Physicians, 1 CNM and 1 APRN
  • 2 Ultra sonographers in clinic
  • Two FertilityCare practitioners who educate in the Creighton model or FEMM model of Natural Family Planning and fertility awareness.

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Physician Licensed to practice medicine in current state.
  • Board certified or board eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology. Obtain and maintain medical staff membership and appropriate privileges.
  • Must be eligible as a provider for Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal health programs.
  • Physician shall meet all qualifications to participate in OSF's programs for professional malpractice and other liability coverage.
  • Licensed by the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration and the State of Illinois to prescribe narcotics, if applicable.

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide patient care aligned to the preferences, goals, and needs of the patients served
  • Interest in Natural Family Planning, Fertility Awareness methods, and Natural Procreative Technology
