Job Summary:

Methodist Healthcare System is supporting recruitment efforts for a plastic & reconstructive surgeon with a passion for burns and wound reconstruction to join a dynamic and growing practice in San Antonio, TX.
 
Qualified Candidates:
  • Board certified or board eligible in plastic surgery with preferred experience in burn and reconstructive practices including surgical wound care.
  • Experience with pediatric burn required
  • Licensed in the state of Texas or ability to obtain
  • New grads with residency experience in above criteria and experienced surgeons are encouraged to apply!

About the Methodist Hospital Burn and Reconstructive Center/Methodist Hospital:
  • Opening in 2020, the Methodist Hospital Burn and Reconstructive center provides advanced, comprehensive burn treatment, repair and reconstructive surgery
  • Offer critical care and outpatient services to adult and pediatric patients from San Antonio and the surrounding communities in the south Texas region
  • 12 adult beds dedicated for burn patients at Methodist Hospital, there are additional beds for pediatric burn care
  • 811 beds and 25 ORs
  • 1 dedicated OR for burn and reconstructive care
  • Daily surgical and clinic care
