- Full-Time Permanent Position: We are inviting applications for a Staff Pathologist specializing in Transfusion Medicine. Join a multidisciplinary team focusing on therapeutic phlebotomy and apheresis services.
- Collaborative Environment: Work within a supportive team of six MDs, actively contributing to patient care and surgical pathology. You will have opportunities to teach and supervise pathology residents, fostering the next generation of healthcare professionals.
- Clinical Excellence: Responsibilities include overseeing quality measures, participation in quality assurance programs, and direct patient care in apheresis procedures and blood bank operations. Your dedication to adhering to standards will help shape the future of transfusion medicine.
- Fellowship Training: Candidates currently completing an ACGME-accredited Transfusion Medicine Fellowship are welcome to apply. Ensure your career is founded on excellence with ABP board eligibility/certification in Clinical Pathology and Transfusion Medicine.
- Competitive Compensation: Enjoy a proposed compensation range of $225K - $400K, with opportunities for education debt reduction through our Employee Debt Reduction Program (EDRP). Receive up to $40,000 per year for up to 5 years (Total $200,00O Tax Free) to qualifying student debt.
- Work-Life Balance: Your schedule will be Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 4:30 PM, with light call coverage from home for weekends and transfusion emergencies. We ensure you have the support of residents able to handle after-hours and weekend calls as well.
