The Wake Forest Health Network Pulmonology - Wilkesboro practice is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pulmonologist to join our well-established, community-based team. This is a wonderful opportunity to provide comprehensive pulmonary care for a diverse patient population in a supportive, team-oriented setting. Position Highlights:
- Full-time providers work 36 patient-facing hours and 4 administrative hours
- Office/Clinic Hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm
- Shift/Schedule this clinician will be required to work: mix of inpatient and outpatient
- Clinical Support Structure (e.g., number of physicians, APPs, nurses): new clinical position with intent to grow to meet community need
Physician Requirements:
- Graduation from an accredited medical school (M.D./D.O.).
- Completion of an accredited Internal Medicine residency.
- Completion of a Pulmonary fellowship at an ACGME-accredited institution.
- Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Pulmonary
- Current or eligible for North Carolina Medical License.
- BLS certification by the American Heart Association or Red Cross.
- Current DEA and DPS registration for prescription writing.
