Position Overview

We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Gastroenterologist with expertise in complex and advanced GI procedures to join our multidisciplinary team. This position offers the opportunity to work in a Collaboration with transplant surgeons, hepatologists, hepatobiliary specialists and interventional radiologists, serving a diverse patient population with challenging and rewarding cases.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform advanced endoscopic procedures, including:
    • ERCP (Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography)
    • EUS (Endoscopic Ultrasound)
    • Complex polypectomy and mucosal resection
  • Manage patients with complex hepatobiliary and pancreatic disorders.
  • Collaborate closely with transplant teams for pre- and post-operative GI care.
  • Participate in inpatient consults and outpatient clinic.
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and clinical research (optional).
  • Share call responsibilities within the GI group.
Qualifications
  • MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
  • Board Certified/Eligible in Gastroenterology.
  • Advanced endoscopy fellowship training.
  • Eligible for Texas medical licensure.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a commitment to patient-centered care.
