Join Our Team as a Locum Physician – General Medicine in Houston, TX

Required Skills:

• Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
• Active State Medical License in Texas
• Experience in family medicine, internal medicine, orthopedic surgery, or general medicine
• Strong interview and physical assessment skills, including range of motion and muscle strength testing
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and adhere to protocols

Nice to Have Skills:

• Prior experience in compensation and pension examinations
• Prior military or veteran healthcare experience
• Familiarity with medical documentation and report writing
• Certification in applicable medical areas or additional relevant training

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Medical degree with at least 2 years of clinical experience
• Prior experience with veteran health assessments preferred
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment

Other Requirements:

• Own an office within 50 miles of Houston, TX (preferred) or be available for per diem assignments nearby
• Willingness to complete training and onboarding promptly
• Reliable internet and communication tools for administrative follow-up
• Must adhere to all VES and federal guidelines

Position Details:

• Hourly Pay Rate: $624.00
• Schedule: PRN, with options for half-day (4 hours) or full-day (8 hours) shifts
• Locations: Primarily in Houston, TX, with possible assignments at other sites nationwide
• No bill rates or additional reimbursements outside specified rates
• Quick credentialing and onboarding process
• Travel and licensure reimbursements available where applicable
