The Mann-Grandstaff VA Medical Center is seeking a talented Board-Certified (or Board-Eligible) Pulmonary/Critical Care Physician to join our dedicated Pulmonology Section, providing outstanding care for our nation’s Veterans—America’s Heroes.

Position Overview:

  • Deliver comprehensive outpatient and inpatient pulmonary services, including diagnosis and management of a wide spectrum of pulmonary conditions, from common illnesses to rare and complex diseases.
  • Provide critical care for seriously ill or medically complex patients in the ICU.
  • Participate in electronic consultations (e-consult services) to enhance access to expert pulmonary care.
  • Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, serving more than 30,000 Veterans across the region, including at 6 Community-Based Outpatient Clinics.
  • Opportunity to teach residents and medical students through strong affiliations with Washington State College of Medicine and the University of Washington. Academic appointment possible.

Facility Highlights:

  • Spokane VAMC is a part of VA Northwest (VISN 20) and includes a main medical center and four community clinics throughout Washington, northern Idaho, and Montana.
  • Facility includes 46 hospital beds and 38 rehabilitation/skilled nursing home beds.
  • Mobile clinic extends care to Veterans in rural and remote areas.

Schedule & Requirements:

  • Full-time, Monday–Friday. Some evening or weekend coverage may be required.
  • U.S. citizenship required (non-U.S. citizens may be considered).
  • Unrestricted U.S. medical license required.
  • Board Certification (or Eligibility) in Pulmonology preferred.
