What You’ll Do: - Provide critical care for pediatric patients from birth to 18 years in the Pediatric ICU Department
- Support staff with NPs available during the day and evening shifts
- Conduct patient rounds in the morning and manage ongoing patient care during shifts
- Cover a minimum of one week per month, supporting 7-15 patients daily
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Maintain accurate documentation using Cerner EMR system
- Ensure compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations and protocols
What You Need: Required: - AZ medical license (IMLC preferred, OK to license)
- Board certification or eligibility in Pediatrics
- BLS and PALS certifications
- DEA license
- Minimum of 5 years PICU experience
Preferred: - Strong critical care skills in inpatient pediatric settings
- Ability to work well in high-pressure situations
- Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
