Cleveland Clinics Department of Regional Radiology invites board certified pediatric radiologists to apply for a 2nd shift pediatric teleradiologist position in our Imaging Institute. This position requires fellowship training and CAQ in Pediatric Radiology.

Candidates will work with other 2nd shift pediatric radiologists to provide coverage from 4 PM - 9 PM (EST). Core schedule is 7 days on, followed by 7 days off but is flexible and allows 2nd shift team members to work together to develop a schedule that meets their needs. Successful candidates will be responsible for reading primarily STAT pediatric emergency and inpatient cases but will also interpret routine cases from the inpatient and outpatient settings.

Our pediatric teleradiology team is composed of 10 pediatric radiologists, of whom 6 work overnight and 4 work 2nd shift. Radiologists work in teams of 2 and all members of the group are welcoming, collegial, and happy to consult with each other on cases. We have an excellent relationship with our in-house pediatric radiology colleagues at Cleveland Clinic. The pediatric teleradiology team works alongside a large team of 2nd shift and overnight neuro and general radiologists as part of the Overnight Emergency Radiology section.

The Department of Regional Radiology includes an extensive system of 10 community hospitals and 19 ambulatory care facilities including imaging centers in the Cleveland, Ohio area. In addition to regional radiology coverage, the Overnight Emergency Radiology section provides coverage to the Cleveland Clinic Main Campus, Cleveland Clinic Florida, multiple additional Cleveland Clinic facilities in Ohio and Florida, and multiple institutions that have contracted the section for evening and overnight teleradiology coverage. All Cleveland Clinic departments and facilities are networked with PACS (Agfa EI), Voice Recognition (Powerscribe 360) and EMR (EPIC). This continues to evolve as the Cleveland Clinic invests in state of the art technology as one of the largest integrated systems in the U.S. Our staff is collegial and our mission is excellent patient care.

This opportunity is available with residence in the lower 48 United States (with a few exceptions, including California). Successful applicants will need to have or obtain Ohio and Florida licensure, in addition to their state of residency and other state licenses as they become necessary.
