Cleveland Clinic’s Diagnostic Institute and Cerebrovascular Center at Akron General Hospital are currently seeking a Physician Assistant or Acute Care certified Nurse Practitioner for a full-time position

Cleveland Clinic’s Section of Neuroradiology specializes in imaging and diagnosing neurological disorders such as stroke, epilepsy, brain tumors, multiple sclerosis, and problems of the ear-nose-throat system.  Patients are referred from around the United States and the world for these services.

The successful applicant for this exciting new role will work with a variety of patients in mostly an acute care setting. Responsibilities include but are not limited to managing day to day operations in neuro interventional radiology department, peri-operative patient evaluation, assisting in the OR on neurovascular and acute stroke patients, inpatient consults, inpatient follow up and patient education.

This is not a primary procedure role, currently, however there is opportunity to perform lumbar punctures, subarachnoid drain placements, and first assist in NIR procedures.  The hours for this position are Monday-Friday, however hours may change as the needs of business operations demands. . Candidates with neurology/surgical/acute care APP experience preferred, however new graduates with relevant experience may be considered.
