We are looking for a motivated and compassionate Pediatric Hospitalist to join our growing Pediatric Hospitalist team. We are looking to add an additional physician who will participate in the treatment and management of our busy in-patient newborn and pediatric service. The current clinical responsibilities his inpatient team oversees are the newborn nursery, attendance at routine deliveries, pediatric inpatient service (floor), admissions from the Pediatric Emergency Department. Additionally, as a member of this team, you will work collaboratively with the pediatric intensivists, neonatologists and pediatric emergency medicine attendings.
ABOUT OUR DEPARTMENT
Our physicians are supported by:
- 3 Full time Pediatric Intensivists
- 5 Full time Neonatologists
- 2 Full time Nurse Practitioners
POSITION DETAILS
- Full Time, 12-hour shifts. (Full time is 3 shifts/week) Combination of day/night, weekday and weekend shift schedule, shared equally
- Medical, dental, vision, short/long term disability, 401k
- CME allowance and time
- Malpractice coverage
- Compensation is very competitive
- Relocation allowance
QUALIFICATIONS
- An MD or equivalent degree
- Successful completion of an ACGME accredited residency in Pediatrics, Board certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics
- At least 1 year of postgraduate work experience recommended.
- Existing or Eligibility for New Jersey Medical License, DEA and CDS required
- PALS and NRP
