Physician - Pulmonary Critical Care Medicine

The Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System (CAVHS), near the beautiful Ozark Mountains, is seeking a full-time MD/DO Pulmonologist Physician with an interest in Critical Care.  Opportunity highlights are further below.  Little Rock is the capital city of Arkansas, located in the central part of the state. Little Rock has earned a reputation as The Natural State!  It is a wonderful place to live.  Arkansans' spend their weekends exploring the historic Arkansas State Capitol, wandering through the Arkansas Art Centers and museums, and enjoying the outdoors and the beautiful Ozark Mountains.  With a National Airport reachable in a 15-minute drive, Little Rock is also a great place to live and explore the nation. 

Potential starting base salary range:  $300,000-$350,000

Daily work schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm;  2-3 day per week in clinic; Inpatient consultation service, not a medicine service; 1/4 inpatient consult rotation; 1/4 call coverage, with assistance of a full hospitalist team.   

Paid Time Off: Total of 50 55 days per year 
No Physician Employment Contract, you can moonlight or work in other facilities as long as you do not treat veterans there.
