The Cincinnati VA Medical Center is seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician to join our team as a Gastroenterologist. The primary responsibilities include providing clinical care in Gastroenterology and overseeing the education of Residents, Fellows, and Medical Students.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical care in Gastroenterology and Inflammatory Bowel Diseases.
- Supervise and support nurse practitioners, medical students, and residents.
- Revise work schedules and assignments to adapt to changing patient care needs.
- Deliver quality patient-centered care to adults aged 18 and older.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and management for effective patient care.
- Complete medical documentation in a timely manner.
- Work independently while being accountable to the Chief of Medical Service.
Work Schedule:
- Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM (variable).
Qualifications:
- Basic Requirements:
- U.S. Citizenship.
- Doctor of Medicine or equivalent degree from an accredited institution.
- Current, unrestricted medical license in the U.S.
- Completed residency training in an accredited specialty program.
- Proficiency in spoken and written English.
- Preferred Experience:
- BLS/ACLS Certification.
- Board eligible or board certified in Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Family Practice.
