- Searching for a board-certified or board-eligible Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation physician (MD or DO) to lead the PM&R department at the newly completed Health Care in Fredericksburg Virginia. The position is best suited for those in practice > 3 years, VA experience is highly valued.
- Administrative duties include supervision and oversight of a fully integrated department to include PM&R physicians, PM&R Interventional pain physicians, Clinical O&P, Chiropractic, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech therapy.
- No call coverage, outpatient only
- Clinic/administrative hours: 8 – 4:30 pm, Monday -Friday
- Practice is flexible and based on training:
- Musculoskeletal medicine to include ultrasound-guided joint injections (fluoroscopy available on site as well)
- Spasticity management (toxins, pump management)
- Stroke and TBI evaluation and management
- Orthotic and gait aid prescription
- Electrodiagnostic
- Spinal cord injury (as needed)
- Practice will be supported by all clinical specialties housed at this location including primary care, mental health, women’s health, and most medical and surgical subspecialties to include but not limited to Neurology, Orthopedics, and Podiatry.
