St. Josephs Health is seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our busy, inpatient cardiology team. This exciting opportunity offers exposure to a highly specialized patient population and involves direct medical management of hospitalized patients. As a part of our team, you will have access to experienced cardiology physicians for support and collaboration. This position is full-time with flexible scheduling, including evening, night, and weekend shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Full-time position in inpatient cardiology
- Weekend, holiday, and some evening hours required
- Direct medical management of hospitalized cardiology patients
- Full access to consult with cardiology physicians for support
- No clinic duties; inpatient-only responsibilities
- Collaboration within a multidisciplinary team to provide the best care to patients
Qualifications:
- Licensure: New York State licensure as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
- Certifications: DEA certification, Board Certification, ACLS/BLS certifications required
- Preferred Experience: 1-2 years of experience in Cardiology or Acute Care setting
- Skills: Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic skills, and the ability to work independently as well as within a team
Compensation Package:
- Competitive Salary: Salary range of $124,532- $146,918, plus RVU incentives
