Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily interventional radiology procedures including embolizations, pulmonary thrombectomies, drainages (abscess, nephrostomy, biliary), and IVC filter insertions.
  • Conduct central venous access procedures such as dialysis catheters, central lines, and PICCs.
  • Execute TIPS, lumbar punctures, thoracentesis, and paracentesis.
  • Provide coverage for daily IR cases and on-call duties as scheduled.
  • Maintain high standards of patient safety, procedural accuracy, and documentation.

Required Skills:
  • Proven expertise in vascular and interventional radiology procedures listed above.
  • Proficiency in image-guided interventions and diagnostic radiology.
  • Strong understanding of anatomy and radiologic techniques.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Experience with advanced interventional procedures beyond core skills.
  • Familiarity with the latest imaging technology and software.
  • Certification in Interventional Radiology or Nuclear Medicine.
  • Prior experience in a hospital or multispecialty practice setting.

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Board-certified or eligible in Diagnostic Radiology with a focus on Vascular and Interventional Radiology.
  • Minimum of 2 years of post-residency experience in a similar setting.

Other Requirements:
  • Active medical licensure and applicable board certifications.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including on-call shifts.
  • Willingness to travel for training or professional development as needed.
  • Compliance with all institutional, state, and federal regulations regarding medical practice.
