Join Our Dynamic Emergency Medicine Team as a Locum Physician in North Adams, MA

We are currently recruiting a highly skilled Locum Physician to provide exceptional emergency care at Berkshire Medical Center and North Adams Hospital. This pivotal role offers flexible shifts, competitive compensation, and the chance to serve a vibrant patient population in the scenic North Adams region.

Required Skills:

• Board Certified in Emergency Medicine
• Valid MA Medical License
• Proven experience in Emergency Department settings
• Strong clinical decision-making and patient management skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience managing trauma patients (Trauma Level III)
• Familiarity with Meditech EMR systems
• Prior experience in rural or community hospital settings
• BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications

Preferred Education and Experience:

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Minimum 2 years of emergency medicine practice
• Previous locum or temporary staffing experience

Other Requirements:

• Must be licensed and credentialed in Massachusetts
• Availability to cover morning and night shifts
• Weekend and holiday availability preferred
• Ability to work 8, 11, or 12-hour shifts
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• Willingness to float between facilities and work flexible hours
