- Monday - Friday 8 am - 5 pm with 1 week call monthly
- Daily census 8 - 10 patients when on call
- Inpatient pediatrics, nursery, ED consults, high-risk deliveries
- Level I nursery with newborn resuscitation coverage
- Emergent procedures including intubation and chest tubes
- Call frequency 2 - 6 times during call week
- No dedicated pediatric unit
- Younger children typically transferred out
- We negotiate better pay and deposit it weekly
- We arrange complimentary housing and travel and comprehensive malpractice coverage
