Were seeking a passionate and driven Internal Medicine Physician to join our Hospital Medicine team in Muskegon, MI. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the health of our community while working in a supportive, mission-driven environment.

Opportunity Details

  • Level 2 trauma center
  • General floor coverage and potential for ICU coverage, along with procedures; open ICU
  • Opportunity to teach Residents, Medical Students, and Fellows
  • Inpatient shift-based only; no call required
  • Schedule: mix of days and nights with rounding and admitting responsibilities
    • Provides occasional schedule coverage for Trinity Health Grand Haven Hospital

Requirements

  • Hospitalist Medicine experience required
  • Physicians: Shall be board certified in an appropriate area of clinical practice or is board eligible and will become board certified within five years following the Start Date (unless sooner required by the applicable medical staff bylaws)
  • Active Michigan medical license (or ability to obtain)
  • DEA license
  • BLS certification (must be maintained)/ ACLS/BLS certification (must be maintained)

Duties & Responsibilities

A typical day may include:

  • Providing direct patient care
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
  • Participating in teaching and mentoring
  • Documenting in Epic EMR
  • Engaging in quality improvement initiatives
  • Supporting community health efforts
