CLEVELAND, OHIO (USA). The Department of Pathology at The MetroHealth System, a teaching affiliate of Case Western University School of Medicine, is recruiting a full-time General Anatomic Pathologist who will participate in general surgical pathology and cytology sign-out. This position comes with a faculty appointment at Case Western Reserve University, at a rank commensurate with experience. Compensation is competitive with an excellent benefits package.

The anatomic pathology division at MetroHealth Medical Center processes approximately 25,000 surgical pathology and approximately 24,000 cytology cases annually. It consists of nine surgical pathologists. The department also has a pathology residency program, and a surgical pathology and  cytology fellowship programs. Participation in resident and medical student teaching, and contribution to clinical or translational research are expected. He / she will also be expected to perform administrative duties and participate in tumor boards.

Applicants must hold a MD or DO degree with American Board of Pathology certification in AP/CP or AP. They should be qualified for an unrestricted medical license in Ohio. They should ideally have done at least one fellowship in either of the following: general surgical pathology, surgical pathology subspecialty, or cytology.
