Physician - Optometry

We need temporary coverage for our established, premier Washington, D.C. area practice at Eye Doctors of Washington www.edow.com , splitting time between our locations in Vienna, VA, and Chevy Chase, MD.  The schedule is Mon-Fri 8am-5pm.  No call.  You would be seeing about 20-25 patients per day, mainly post-op visits.  We need someone that could start in mid-July and work through November.  We do have time to license someone for this opportunity.  Ideally, we are looking for a candidate that is residency trained or someone with medical optometry experience for this assignment.

This group has provided the highest quality eye care services to the D.C. area for over 50 years using the latest advancements in the field while operating with a private practice methodology.  This practice consists of an integrated staff of 13 MD/OD. 

We currently have general, refractive, cornea, ocular plastics, pediatric and strabismus, and exceptional glaucoma service lines as well.  We have offices in D.C., Vienna and Chevy Chase, and Olney, MD.  The practice has an excellent support system (with talented administration, opticians, techs, and scribes), a collegial work environment, beautiful facilities, and a positive work/life balance.
